Guest LiqMat Posted January 16, 2018 Share Posted January 16, 2018 Never have used the Nostalgia emulator with a USB gamepad before and was setting it up for a friend. Come to find out there is no way to setup the sticks on a USB controller in Nostalgia. All I can see is joystick button mapping in Nostalgia. Is this for real? Anyone have more knowledge about this? mr_me Posted January 18, 2018 Share Posted January 18, 2018 It should automatically map the usb controller direction control to the emulator controller disc. I was hitting the number 1 key with the top row number keys on the keyboard when in fact the first controller is the numeric keypad. So when I hit 1 on that the joystick works like a charm. Giving Dreadnaught Factor a whirl with Intellivision Rocks roms in Nostalgia. I forgot how freakin hard this game is. mr_me Posted November 23, 2018 Share Posted November 23, 2018 PC digital only controllers usually have the dpad/joystick work as analog axis. Check in the windows game controller test utility to see how yours works. Controllers that have analog sticks might have the dpad set as a pov hat.
