You may recognize Lance J. Lewis from Alien Vs Predator or his face from Space War 2000.

He worked for Atari QA during the Jaguar years.

He also worked on the The 3DO Company and other companies but for many of us, he will be remembered as the Colonial Marine in Alien Vs. Predator for the Jaguar.

Learned about his passing early this morning as well, very sad news. The guy seemed super cool and I will always have his face burned into my memory thanks to Space War as will the picture of him in Atari's basement rocking out on the bass guitar forever remain in memory.

Some really cool interviews to remember the guy by:

Aw man just passing by and saw this. I used to hang out with Lance a lot when I was at Atari. Top guy, had some great times driving round in his jeep and partying. Some of my best memories with Atari test, and whenever I think of Atari test I always think of him.

RIP Lance mate :(.

My condolences also.

Old interview from 2005 on The Atari Times site.

A quote I found from him on his own site using wayback.

"A struggle that ends as it began, Death is a gift for sinners and heroes.
For the many who crave their own demise, no God to find leaves them morose.
Inevitably, their nightmares become obsolete." - Lance J. Lewis
