Could any of these new mini arcades such as the Tiny Arcade ($50) or BurgerTime ($30) be modified to run MAME and/or other emulation?  The Tiny Arcade already has SD card support, but the BurgerTime cabinet looks better plus has a nice landscape monitor.  This is something that is interesting to me, but the closest thing I can find other than the handhelds are hacked Coleco mini arcades from the 80's and these are loaded with a Raspberry Pi then sold for $500-$1,000 on eBay.  If I was going to do that, I would rather use a new RoboTech cabinet once Coleco sells them and get help/hire here on AtariAge as it could be done for much less than $500.
