themadgenius
Hi, Way back in the mid-1990's when I was a teenager, I bought an Atari Jaguar System with the CD-Rom attachment. phoenixdownita
... can't ... resist ... I can tell you what I've been told many times over. Put it on eBay at 1$ starting bid, no reserve. It will fetch whatever the market can bear.
+LS650
I don't want to be rude, but aren't you asking a bunch of strangers to do your research for you? Take a look at completed auctions (not what people are asking, but what items actually sell for) on eBay, Craigslist, the market right here at AA, etc. You've got some uncommon stuff there, and if you are willing to put in the effort, you could make quite a bit of money,
+save2600
...but, no boxes for anything though? Hate to break the news, but that severely ruins the value of this stuff big time. Jaguar collectors really want their stuff complete. Without boxes, you've essentially got a nice "players" system here. Value is going to be 1/4-1/2 what it could have been otherwise.
Rick Dangerous
Probably $500-$800? The no boxes really kills it. Maybe more if you split it up and sell individually.
+LS650
I think if you piece it out on eBay, you could pull in several hundred dollars - but that would mean some hassle on your part. If you sell it as a bundle, you'll get lots of lowball offers, but perhaps not the high-end offers you might be hoping for. These days, a lot of Jaguar auctions on eBay are relisting over and over as unsold.
themadgenius
I wish I had the boxes. Back in the mid-90's, everyone was throwing away their console games and consoles. I never thought that my Jaguar and games would actually ever be worth something in the future. I've been watching Ebay over the years and never really seen a collection like this come up for auction. I just wanted to ask people in this community and get their thoughts. If I got a couple grand I'd be amazed! If not, I'd be happy to put it back in the closet and let it sit there for another 20 years.

As mentioned by Travis, best you're probably looking at is $800 for the lot - maybe closer to $1,000 if you part it out and price it aggressively and people bite but that's a lot of iffing. I don't think throwing it back in the closet is going to magically make it increase in value tenfold in 20 years, especially since you'll still be missing all the boxes and anyone that has a Jaguar will probably be using SD cards to emulate the Jaguar CD at that point, so probably only the hardest core of collectors are going to bother but then you have overall functionality of the unit being far less likely just sitting collecting dust for that long. eBay and done.
Machine
I have seen several collections like this on Ebay.... nice collection, but nothing crazy. I would guess the CD unit is the big attraction, but with the SD cart coming like someone mentioned it isnt as attractive. No way I see it getting over $1k.....personally I agree with $700-$800 max(as a set). Just enjoy it!
+madman
If it was me, I'd sell the CD unit + games in one auction; system, controllers and some commons in another auction; part out the high priced games individually and then one last lot for the remainder of the carts.
SuperDork3000
If consoles and games are in good condition, i'd say... $400-$500 for the consoles with hardware. $300-$450 for the games & memory track. You have some good titles. Good luck
82-T/A
Sell these in separate auctions for maximum profit / fun: Cartidge: Cannon Fodder Power Drive Rally Alien vs Predator Memory Track CD: World Tour Racing Dragons Lair Then sell all the CD stuff together. Then sell the rest of the games together. Then sell all the rest of the hardware together. Value is subjective. AVP should have a $100 minimum sale price. +madman
Value is subjective. AVP should have a $100 minimum sale price. Or someone could buy a new copy at Best for $49.
Stage_1_Boss
Or someone could buy a new copy at Best for $49. I wish, I'd love to have a mint copy of AvP, but it's not listed at Best and B&C has it for $250. EDIT: Unless you're referring to the cart, manual and overlays they have listed for $49 Edited March 5, 2018 by Stage_1_Boss
Major Havoc 2049
Put it on eBay with a starting price of $500 for six days and see where it goes.

EDIT: Unless you're referring to the cart, manual and overlays they have listed for $49 Allow me to break it down and be more clear. Guy wants to know value of games without boxes. 82-T/A suggests a minimum value of $100 for AvP without box. I point out that a new, sans box, AvP can be had at Best for $49. One can then draw the conclusion that I was pointing out that $100 for a boxless AvP is too high.

I took that as 82 giving his opinion that AvP was a good game that should command that price with the whole 'value is subjective' thing.. then with the whole new, sans box, I wasn't using GameStop's definition of new.. I can see where I went wrong. Thank you for clarifying madman, I always enjoy your input.
Machine
I took the AVP value being Subjective as meaning how good the game is......meaning AVP is a $100 game subjectively (based on how much you value it), compared to Supercross 3D being worth $.50 cuz it is gawd-awful..... For me "Subjective value" = "personal taste", rather than actual value......just how I read it..... +madman
I guess good luck selling games for subjective pricing vs what people will actually pay.

82-T/A
Or someone could buy a new copy at Best for $49. Shoot... the man asked how much he could sell his games for, not... how cheaply he could buy exact duplicates of his games. People are dumb. I could literally buy one of everything on the Atari Age store, sell them for 20% higher on eBay, and sell every single one for a profit. Machine
I guess good luck selling games for subjective pricing vs what people will actually pay. No one said that, just stating the difference between actual price and subjective. It wasn't my term, just stating what I thought it meant. You always such a pleasant person??? themadgenius
I like seeing all the input! Thanks for all the comments and compliments. I've been looking on Ebay for years from time to time for systems and collections like mine and I haven't really seen any. If anyone can provide a link to a Collection like mine that sold, I'd love to see it!!?? There is one on there now with like 60+ games for $3,500. I guess if I really wanted I could go buy the boxes and shrink wrap them and act like they are brand new. I don't do business like that and I believe the story of how I collected this is really cool. I was just a kid in the mid-90's who instead of buying Playstation or Super Nintendo or 64, decided to buy an Atari and than I amassed a nice collection of games. What's really amazing is that this console still works 20+ years later. Yes, the collection is for sale on Ebay with a starting price of $500. I don't know what is going to happen, maybe I sell it, maybe I don't. I guess I could plug this in and turn it on and game way like when I was kid, lol!
