Over the course of few years in the 90's, I bought 20+ games. I would like to now, sell my collection, I would like some help in determining what price I could possibly get for it. I will upload pics. Here is a List of what I have. This system does Work! Atari Jaguar Console w/ user manual : No box Atari CD-Rom w/ user manual: No box 2 - Standard Controllers 2 - Power Supplies Atari Composite Cable Games: No Box's: I do have user manuals for all Games Kasumi Ninja Club Drive Cannon Fodder Checkered Flag Power Drive Rally Troy Aikman Football Syndicate Missile Command 3D Pinball Fantasies Flashback: The Quest for Identity Theme Park Bugsy Supercross 3d Iron Soldier Brutal Sports Football Raiden Double Dragon Alien vs Predator Memory Track CD: World Tour Racing Myst Demo Vid Grid Baldies Blue Lightning Tempest: The Soundtrack Dragons Lair Thoughts! Jaguar collectors really want their stuff complete. Without boxes, you've essentially got a nice "players" system here. +LS650 Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 I think if you piece it out on eBay, you could pull in several hundred dollars - but that would mean some hassle on your part. If you sell it as a bundle, you'll get lots of lowball offers, but perhaps not the high-end offers you might be hoping for. I just wanted to ask people in this community and get their thoughts. If I got a couple grand I'd be amazed! As mentioned by Travis, best you're probably looking at is $800 for the lot - maybe closer to $1,000 if you part it out and price it aggressively and people bite but that's a lot of iffing. I don't think throwing it back in the closet is going to magically make it increase in value tenfold in 20 years, especially since you'll still be missing all the boxes and anyone that has a Jaguar will probably be using SD cards to emulate the Jaguar CD at that point, so probably only the hardest core of collectors are going to bother but then you have overall functionality of the unit being far less likely just sitting collecting dust for that long. eBay and done. 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Machine Posted March 2, 2018 Share Posted March 2, 2018 I have seen several collections like this on Ebay.... nice collection, but nothing crazy. I would guess the CD unit is the big attraction, but with the SD cart coming like someone mentioned it isnt as attractive. Then sell the rest of the games together. Then sell all the rest of the hardware together. Value is subjective. AVP should have a $100 minimum sale price. Guy wants to know value of games without boxes. 82-T/A suggests a minimum value of $100 for AvP without box. I point out that a new, sans box, AvP can be had at Best for $49. Machine Posted March 5, 2018 Share Posted March 5, 2018 (edited) I took the AVP value being Subjective as meaning how good the game is......meaning AVP is a $100 game subjectively (based on how much you value it), compared to Supercross 3D being worth $.50 cuz it is gawd-awful..... For me "Subjective value" = "personal taste", rather than actual value......just how I read it..... Shoot... the man asked how much he could sell his games for, not... how cheaply he could buy exact duplicates of his games. People are dumb. I could literally buy one of everything on the Atari Age store, sell them for 20% higher on eBay, and sell every single one for a profit. I've been looking on Ebay for years from time to time for systems and collections like mine and I haven't really seen any. If anyone can provide a link to a Collection like mine that sold, I'd love to see it!!?? There is one on there now with like 60+ games for $3,500. I guess if I really wanted I could go buy the boxes and shrink wrap them and act like they are brand new. I don't do business like that and I believe the story of how I collected this is really cool. I was just a kid in the mid-90's who instead of buying Playstation or Super Nintendo or 64, decided to buy an Atari and than I amassed a nice collection of games. What's really amazing is that this console still works 20+ years later. Yes, the collection is for sale on Ebay with a starting price of $500. I don't know what is going to happen, maybe I sell it, maybe I don't. I guess I could plug this in and turn it on and game way like when I was kid, lol!
