poseur3970
can someone tell me when it comes to selling my coleco and Atari 5200 carts would it be better to sell the carts separate from the manuals if I don't have the box or sell the carts for more with the manuals? cuz I have no idea how to price with the cart and manual but no box? +GoldLeader
Obviously, whatever you want to do. If it were me I'd sell the games with manuals. You should get just a little more than the games on their own. The manuals might be worth "more" separately, but that's assuming you take the time to list them and they actually sell. It seems to me manuals only become valuable if it's a game that is worth a lot "complete", And if you find someone missing said manual. Just check ebay for sample prices, but remember ONE high priced game or manual means Nothing. There's always some bonehead out there trying to act like his Coleco Donkey Kong is the Holy Grail haha... So look at more than one (or also completed auctions) to figure out the going rate. icemanxp300
Just my personal opinion unless the game/manual has any real value it is not worth selling together. Once you start adding a manual that means bigger packaging, more time, higher cost of shipping and so on. You are always better off selling cart only and then selling manuals in lots. CPUWIZ
Sell the 5200 Star Wars games with the manuals, do the same with Pitfall II. I have no opinion on the Coleco games.
jnice
Don't be "that guy". Sell the carts WITH the manuals! 1) The manuals aren't worth much on their own, 2) The buyer enjoys them when they come with the purchase of the cart, 3) On the other hand, the buyer will almost never seek out buying the manual separately, 4) eBay has too many annoying "manual only" listings.

edladdin
FWIW, I'm one of those people that collects carts and manuals but not boxes. I frequently pay a premium price to buy the two together, passing over cheaper loose carts without paper.
