Wilheim
Hi, all! In order to make it work on Maxflash Studio, I tried to make a single ATR file (1440 sectors/128 bytes per sector image) for Mail Order Monsters. Unfortunately, it didn't work. Have anyone tried to convert it? Best regards!
_The Doctor__
sector count seems a bit high I'd try to pick the same size disk as the original, it could only help.
Rybags
You can't just join multi-disk games into one in most cases, not that simple. Although each of the disks seems to have a few files in the directory they seem to be just placeholders and the Altirra utility reports the Dos disk structure as being corrupt. Likely the disk access is mostly raw to absoute sector but even if they were proper Dos disks, they seem to be using the same filenames which would make it hard to combine them anyway. Electronic Arts - they put fairly heavy copy protection on most of their games but of course this one's been cracked at some point. One of the first things you do when protecting a disk game is don't just put all the files on the disk to make it easy for people to reverse-engineer your software. This applies to probably almost all Atari multi-disk games. Very few use Dos not many more use a Dos structure. And next to none are easily combined to a single image. +therealbountybob
If anyone does work on M.O.M. a 1050 Enhances Density version that reduces some of the annoying disk swaps would be appreciated. It's a great game, especially if you hack the save to get lots of money
