smbaker
I made this thing today: Basically it's a 32K dual-port memory, connected to a raspberry pi on one side and an Atari 5200 on the other. You change cartridges using any web-capable device (phone, table, PC, etc). It has a transistor driver for the cartridge interlock, so it can automatically reboot the 5200 when a ROM image is changed. Scott
Omega-TI
Kinda neat that you can use your phone as a remote control to load images and reset the 5200.
Deteacher
And when will you be offering to make these for the rest of us? This is awesome!
smbaker
And when will you be offering to make these for the rest of us? This is awesome! I'm unlikely to ever make completed products, I just don't have the time to do much beyond build my own stuff for my own use. I might consider making the PCBs available, for those who want to build their own. For this project, I do plan to do a revision, there was one significant error (SEML and SEMR pins on the dual-port RAM left unterminated; took some time to figure that out!) that needs to be corrected before they would be ready for the general public. Also I would probably eliminate the fet bus switch in the next revision. Edited July 24, 2018 by smbaker

0078265317
Sell the PCBs along with the drawings / schematics for 5 or 10 extra. Or out source the manufacturing to another member and share the profits.
