SDrive Max SIO Wiring Question

Hello everyone,

I have one of the HiLetgo UNO R3 clones and I'm in the process of building an SDrive Max unit.

The flash programming seems OK and the display works. I've calibrated it and able to see the SDrive software running on it.

I am doing the wiring of an SIO cable to the UNO board and noticed the RX pad and A5 ANALOG IN pad seem connected when I check continuity. Is that correct?

As such, this does not work right now. I am unable to access any of the virtually mounted drives when connected to my 800XL.

Thanks for helping someone who just might be clueless. :)

Last update -- thank you to DrVenkman for pointing out my obvious blunder. I corrected the SIO cable connections and everything works great! I did not add the diode yet (to make it compatible alongside other disk storage devices) but may do so at some point. Big thank you to remowilliams for the 3D printed case. Fit's perfectly.

I also did a speed test using RWTEST.COM (screen shot attached).
