eightbit
I am looking for a working inexpensive ($100 would be great) laptop for my kid who is entering high school this year. It needs to be able to run Windows 10, needs wireless internet connectivity, at least 4GB of memory and at least a 250GB hard drive. Nothing fancy. The school requires this now and they have a program to purchase one from them for $180, but times are tough for me lately. The laptop doesn't even need an OS installed...I can do that myself. Just throwing this out there in hopes that someone has something that they don't care about and would like to help me out

eightbit
Thanks for the link. It is a decent deal but I stopped buying from Newegg years ago because of their crappy return (and restocking fee) policies. Wish your HP backlight worked If you come across anything else please do let me know! I still can't believe the schools now think parents just have the money to buy laptops spur of the moment (needed by Sept and I received the notice today)
