godslabrat
Why wait for "eventually" just to save a few bucks? Multiplayer games are fun when they're new and have a big community. The point of video games is enjoyment, not to try and be the biggest cheapskate possible. I find if I dial back my game buying to only a few titles a year, I care a lot less about getting a "deal" on them. Not that I like burning money, mind you, but if Mario Maker is the only game I buy in the next six months, does it really matter if I paid $50 or $60?

It's funny...go watch any smattering of retrotubers and they'll always...ALWAYS mention that they got their games at less than the going rate..."got it for five bucks!" , "I found this one for like ten bucks!" Some are sincere, and those are the ones who admit they paid going rate or higher for games they really wanted. It's like talking to a compulsive gambler (or stock trader)...they're ALWAYS winning, yet..it's statistically impossible. Oh well.

That's what I do with enough things, take the 20-25% off deal, and still get it when it's fresh, but when it's not so be it if I think it's worth it. Also with that Prime deal dead because they decided to roll with Best Buy quitting, now I'll be doing that next suggestion, buying less.
