Nick99
I´ve been playing around with Convert9918A, it´s amazing! But I have not managed to view a Half multicolor 9918a (flicker) image on my Ti-99/4a that´s corrupt/scrambled. I don´t know if it´s because I have a PAL-version of TI-99? Anyway, the pictures gets messy (scrambled) after 3/4 of the image is loaded. Are there any special viewer that´s needed? Otherwise everything works fine. Tursi
Thanks, glad you like it. The only viewer that can display the half-multicolor images is my slideshow program, as far as I know -- https://www.harmlesslion.com/software/slideshow99 PAL shouldn't be a problem, though the flicker may be slightly more pronounced.
Nick99
Thanks Tursi! It worked, no problem! I forgot a question in previous posting, when I process a picture in convert9918a the picture has a certain ratio aspect, but when I load the picture on the TI-99 it has changed. The picture ratio get lower and wider... my tv is set to 4:3 ratio so that should not be the cause. Is it something that I can change in Convert9918a? Tursi
No, the input filter assumes that the source image has square pixels (since most pictures today are intended for VGA) and resizes accordingly. If the assumption is wrong the only thing you can do for now is resize externally to a square pixel aspect. I could give you better numbers if you gave me the dimensions of the source image, but for instance 640x480.
Nick99
Thanks again Tursi! I will try to resize and see if I manage to get it right.
