Tempest
How are you picking the games that go on the cart? Seems pretty random to me. Is there some pattern I'm missing? Tempest

Well Matt, that is a VERY good question. We are trying to mix in a variety of games for everyone. I throw in a few of my favorites, Nir throws in a few of his and we add a few requests!! Tempest
I see. Personally I'd like to see carts with all one company on them with their games in alphabetical order. That way I could put away my massive cart collection for good! Tempest

I throw in a few of my favorites, Nir throws in a few of his and we add a few requests!! OK Mark, how 'bout this for a request. I'm sure many folks here will scream in agreement: MULTI-CART #5: THE SYNAPSE COLLECTION MULTI-CART #6: THE LUCASFILM COLLECTION It would be pure earthly 8-bit bliss to have all Synapse titles on a single cart! BTW: any hints about what is going to be on future multi-carts? I just ordered mine. And I will order any future ones. If you DO put out a Synapse multi-cart, I will buy three. Immediately. Guaranteed. Andy in Arizona
Mendon
I have Jumpman Jr. on cart but my original Jumpman bit the dust awhile back. Any chance this could be included on a cart or isn't it possible because the original Jumpman was tape/disk? Mendon
Shannon
Original jumpman was a boot disk. It loaded the levels off the disk as you played. Great game too.. Nice to see picnic paranoia on that multicart. I've always liked that game.
Mendon
I also had the original Jumpman on tape. As the tape loaded, you watched Jumpman on the screen slooooooooowly climb a ladder. When he got to the top, the tape was loaded. Well, 75percent of the time it was loaded; the other 25percent I got a "Load Error" message and you started the process all over again. I knew the disk based loaded the levels off the disk but since the game was also available on tape, I wasn't sure whether it could be put on cart or not. Would be nice. Shamus 2 would be another game I'd love to have on cart. Mendon
andylama
Shamus 2 would be another game I'd love to have on cart. I wholeheartedly agree. Shamus 2 is about 800% more interesting than the game it sequeled. Anyway, you just might get your wish on that particular matter. Ask Mark Super-Genius if he has any info available about this... +davidcalgary29
I want 8-bit porn There's quite a few 8-bit porn titles and, aside from the Artworx titles, they're all pretty rare. This would certainly be an interesting (if unstimulating) multi-cart.

Jetboot Jack
I'm sorry to say seeing a bunch of the usual 16K games re-released is not making me want to open my pocket book. I have all these games as either original carts or as EXE files for use with SIO2PC.... In fact these multicarts seem JUST like some BOOT DISCS I already have I say tf you're gonna make these kind of compilations then I would vote for an "Atari" cart or a "Parker Brothers" compilation etc etc... I would pefer to see UN-RELEASED titles, or Games that never made it onto Cart -- like MULE which I bought -- as many of the replies in the "what would you want to see on cart" thread also requested... sTeVE P.S. Who the devil asked for James Bond to be put on this cart anyway -- what a maroon!
Shannon
Well I suppose if they did mule then jumpman could be done as well. After all mule does load from disk. I agree with jetboot jack.. I'd like to see more multi-load cassette, disk only carts. It'd be kinda cool to have games like seven cities of gold on a cart. Well except for this one comment P.S. Who the devil asked for James Bond to be put on this cart anyway -- what a maroon! Is that maroon, as in maroon cartoons?
Goochman
7 Cities of gold with 'map disk' on cart would rule - I would be first in line Any/All of the Ultimas would rock also!
Super-Genius!
Well, to add my two cents, Steve, I have to disagree with you. I think having one cartridge in hand, instead of 30, is much easier. I have all of the carts that are in the MultiCarts, but would much prefer to use just one MultiCart instead of 30 different carts. Not to mention wear and tear on the rare ones!! As for the choice of games, there is no ONE combination of 30 games that will make everyone happy! We are trying to cover a variety of games that will appeal to the masses. We are working on a handful of games that were never released on cart and they are as follows: Alley Cat Tagalon Shamus 2 Black Lamp ...just to name a few. It is really TOUGH to get these games to load from cart and get them to work on 400/800/XL/XE and it takes time and testing. We will also be releasing a developers kit for the Mega-Cart, so anything you want to put on the Mega-Cart, you can!! Keep your suggestions coming! Shannon
for those worried about compatibility, isn't there a compatibility cart out there that can be used?
Jetboot Jack
SuperG -- I wasn't saying that multicarts aren't good -- heck I too would rather not have to hunt through the piles to find my fave game -- so maybe more clearly themed carts is the answer! I have dollars waiting for say Atari only carts -- how ever carts many make up a FULL set of their releases -- I'd also pay for other such all of one publisher carts, like all Parker (with an XL hacked Astrochase!), all Activision or a cart of all the orphan titles, or a cart of 2 publishers or 3 or more if they released only a few each -- just something a little more organized than an any 30 game cart I'm prepared to support you -- don't worry... sTeVE
