Zero Latency Wireless HDMI for your TI (at a price).

I came across an interesting video on YouTube. I like the gadget, but not the price.

Some TI'ers here are already running VGA to HDMI converters. Over the past couple of years, the prices have been coming down, even on one of the originals like the << Sewell Hammerhead >>.

Some of us here run these << Vic Tsing >> units which are still less expensive than the Hammerhead.

So, has anyone come across a cheap Chinese copy of the Wireless HDMI transceiver unit that also has zero latency?

People with F18A's & converters could use it now, but if/when the F18A MkII comes out, it would be a nice addition. Wires suck, but I doubt many of us are willing to spend $250.00 to eliminate a single cable.

When are you going to get the HDMI TI-99/4A project completed?

About that.. bad taste in my mouth. Everything *WAS* working, but decided to get the audio hooked up internally as well, but decided to get a little help (shouldn't have) the guy hooked something up wrong (probably the 12V lead) and now the F18A does not work. It's still sitting in a box in the den and I lost interest.

Matt will repair F18As for minimal cost, just reach out to him. He has fixed boards that people have outright blown chips on before. ;)

Omega screwing something up and losing interest? Surprise surprise surprise.

Well technically *I* did not screw it up, someone else did. Everything was working fine until the other person laid hands on it. So no, after flushing around $140.00 bucks I did not want to throw any more money at it.

I guess you couldn't help being a little snarky there eh CKOBA? Nice to see you back, even if it's using a previous or dual AA account. I hope we can keep things civil this time.
