hizzy
Hi, I have a chance to pick up a brand new Intellivision in box. It is the white model and come sealed in a clean box. What would something like this be worth? It also comes with all of the games in the photo. Thanks for the help!
Intellivet
Difficult to say without seeing all sides of the sealed INTV (assume is INTV II and not Sears) box and am also assuming all games are CIB and in decent used condition, but off the top of my head: - INTV II sealed with clean box = @$150-200+ - used River Raid with mild wear = @ $40 - 5 used, slightly uncommon games = @ $10-15 each, $13 x 5 = $65 - 43 used common games = @ $3-10 each, $7 x 43 = $301 Would think somewhere in the realm of $550-600 a reasonable estimate but that's just me. Good luck!
hizzy
Hi! It's an INTV II. This is the console. I'm a bit out of my element. Usually only buy Atari games Thank you for the help!!
+cmart604
Id say maybe $250-300 for all of it. Sealed Inty 2s are uncommon, but not especially rare. Other than River Raid, nothing super notable game wise.
hizzy
Would you open the sealed console? I'm looking to get this for daily use, but it might be a shame to open a sealed console.
nick3092
Personal preferences will differ, but I would say most people probably wouldn't select an Intv II for a daily driver. The controllers tend to become a bit uncomfortable after a while. They have sharp edges, where the original/Intv III/Super Pro had more rounded edges. The buttons also had a different feel to them. More often than not, people will recommend the original style controllers.

I would probably pass on it if you want it for daily use, both from a drop in value standpoint, and as Nick mentioned, not many folks like the Inty 2 versus the Inty 1 variations from a playability standpoint. I feel like you would be overpaying versus finding a CIB Inty 1 with a game bundle
+BBWW
Gatefold Burgertime's sealed are somewhat uncommon.
boxpressed
Gatefold Burgertime's sealed are somewhat uncommon. My guess is that the majority of gatefold BTs were Inty 2 pack ins.
mr_me
This one doesn't look like a gatefold box to me.
+the1hatman
I am that oddball that prefers an Intellivision II as my daily player. But even I would recommend trying out one of the other versions first and then a used INTV II to compare. There's nothing wrong with unsealing a new system to become your main player but you want to make sure you like the II's controllers well enough first.
BSRSteve
This one doesn't look like a gatefold box to me. I would agree that if it is the same Burger Time as the first picture, then it is not a Gatefold, as it is the same size as the LocoMotion, Motocross, Pinball and CBS Mouse Trap. The Gatefold box is taller.
hizzy
Hi! Are there any aftermarket controllers for the Intellivision II? Can the Intellivision I controllers be removed if they break? Thanks!
mr_me
Yes, with the original Intellivision, a few screws to pop the top cover off; you'll find both controllers are easily removable with 9-pin connectors. They are not DE-9 connectors however. For something in between get a sears intellivision.
mr_me
An aftermarket controller that can completely replace an Intellivision controller is the intellivision flashback controller. Made in 2014, they are getting harder to find. Although they have de-9 connectors it's pinout is different than intellivision ii/sears. They can be made to work with any intellivision with a simple, passive connector adapter.
+Lathe26
Another aftermarket controller was the Wico Command Control that works for the original Intellivision and Intellivision II. However, it is terrible to actually use
Mockduck
That seems like a high quality lot despite the lack of rarity. I'd think $500 is perfectly reasonable for all those boxed games and the system.
