Intellivision Price Check

Difficult to say without seeing all sides of the sealed INTV (assume is INTV II and not Sears) box and am also assuming all games are CIB and in decent used condition, but off the top of my head:

- INTV II sealed with clean box = @$150-200+

- used River Raid with mild wear = @ $40

- 5 used, slightly uncommon games = @ $10-15 each, $13 x 5 = $65

- 43 used common games = @ $3-10 each, $7 x 43 = $301

Would think somewhere in the realm of $550-600 a reasonable estimate but that's just me. Good luck!

Personal preferences will differ, but I would say most people probably wouldn't select an Intv II for a daily driver.

The controllers tend to become a bit uncomfortable after a while. They have sharp edges, where the original/Intv III/Super Pro had more rounded edges. The buttons also had a different feel to them. More often than not, people will recommend the original style controllers.

Would you open the sealed console? I'm looking to get this for daily use, but it might be a shame to open a sealed console.

I would probably pass on it if you want it for daily use, both from a drop in value standpoint, and as Nick mentioned, not many folks like the Inty 2 versus the Inty 1 variations from a playability standpoint. I feel like you would be overpaying versus finding a CIB Inty 1 with a game bundle

I am that oddball that prefers an Intellivision II as my daily player. But even I would recommend trying out one of the other versions first and then a used INTV II to compare. There's nothing wrong with unsealing a new system to become your main player but you want to make sure you like the II's controllers well enough first.

An aftermarket controller that can completely replace an Intellivision controller is the intellivision flashback controller. Made in 2014, they are getting harder to find. Although they have de-9 connectors it's pinout is different than intellivision ii/sears. They can be made to work with any intellivision with a simple, passive connector adapter.
