Rewire ColecoVision Flashback controllers to work with Intv 2?

Have an extra CV Flashback and was wondering if anyone has rewired the controllers to work on the Intellivision 2. I know that I can't easily rewire them for a CV, but was curious if they could work on the Intv. It would look ugly as hell but might work as the original 2 controllers for this INTV 2 are dead.

It is not as simple as rewiring the controller.

You may be better served with rebuilding that Colecovision Flashback as an Ultimate ColecoVision Flashback.

You can use Byte Knight's upgrade service:

You can purchase the needed items and rebuild it yourself

If you like to tinker with things, then this is a fun project to do yourself. There are plenty of us here that can offer guidance.

The Ultimate Flashback Interface Board used can be used for many other systems.

So you can even add in support for Intellivision, Atari2600 (but this will require having a keyboard attached to function as the 2600's console buttons and switches), Sega, etc.

You can rewire NES and SNES adapters, too

Yes, I bought some of the parts from Byte Knight a few years back and built one of each Ultimate CV and Intellivision. The board is pretty awesome but there is still something about putting the cartridges in the old systems :).

So, what you are saying is rewiring is not an easy option to be able to use the CV FB controllers on an actual Intellivision 2.
