was prepping my Lynx 2 for a McWill mod last night. Pulled off the caps, moffit, Zener diode and then went after Q7/Q8 transistors. Of course, with my luck, I pulled the pads off one of the transistors. (sorry, can't tell if it's Q8 or Q7, i THINK it's Q&)
I'd like ti fix this of course, so I can trace the botton pad to the via easily (part of the pad is still attached and I checked for continuity. For the top pad, it looks like it's directly connected to R74 (sorry, didn't get it in the pic.. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/183941-atari-lynx-ii-mosfet-q7-m6-or-l6/). Is this correct? I could wire something directly there, or use a dental tool to remove solder mask to expose a new line, would that be better than directly connecting to the resistor?
So much more complex than adding a backlight to a gameboy!
