Stumbled across these three weird auctions on Ebay UK.

Nov 1 is long past now, and I don't see why a stock 99/4A keyboard is worth anything close to what this guy is asking.

Anyone know what this is all about?

Looks like he has five identical auctions going, one that says "Coming Soon Nov" and the other four with the numbers 1 through 4 appended to the original statement. Note the egregious shipping as well--that looks suspiciously like crazy price gouging all around. . .or a weird advertising campaign for something new.

Click on his << COMPLETED LISTINGS >> it gets even more interesting/bizarre... but apparently he did sell one used TI.

The completed listings show "parts only" while the current ones shows "pre-owned".  But yeah, for what that dude is charging you can buy a complete operational TI.

There's some sort of 'thing' where people upload blank listings to eBay then revise them later. Purchase price and postage are initially high as it is free to reduce them when revising the listing, but costs money to increase them (IIRC). The fact that the picture is a TI keyboard is just a coincidence. As to why they do it, no idea ...
