+nurmix
Very cool! I bet in the history of the ECS you’re one of maybe 10 people who ever connected and used a printer! Sent from my Keyboard Component using Jack's Conversational Intelli-talk cassette I actually had the high bid on one of the 4-color printer that I was planning on using solely for the ECS (I've contemplated getting an Aquarius but have though better of it on several occasions). Unfortunately, I was outbid on it at the last minute. Edited December 10, 2018 by bikeguychicago

Unfortunately, I was outbid on it at the last minute. I’ve never even used an Aquarius. I remember seeing them briefly in stores and in the video game magazines back in the day, but didn’t know anyone who actually bought one. It’s a curiosity to me, but I don’t have any plans to get one. mr_me
Any serial printer should work as long as you can match the ecs/aquarius data rate.
rietveld
Most radioshack printers with a 4 pin DIN serial port can be used if the DIPS are set to 1200 baud. Here is how to make a cable for them ECS plug tip to printer's 4 pin din plug pin 4 ECS middle. to printer's 4 pin din plug pin 2 ECS end sleeve. Printer's 4 pin din plug pin 3 printer's 4 pin din plug pin 1 not used Edited December 10, 2018 by rietveld
