Maybe I just ask here...

Question 1: Since Spriggy has donated AA store gift certificates to those who made it to the bracket challenges - when will that drawing be?

Question 2: Would it be desirable if I donate a little prize for the winner of the Paper Medal? Something physical from my collection. All players in here would be eligible for the prize (I would give it to myself, be happy and save some shipping costs if I'd end up to be the one.), provided he/she hasn't already drawn a gift certificate. See question 1.

Karok,

1) I need to contact Spriggy. I will do so this weekend.

2) Sure. Do you what the prize will be?

Thanks!

I'm not sure yet, Vocelli. I could think of many things. Atari games, maybe a joystick, maybe even a Sega or NES controller. Maybe I could just chip in a $15 gift certificate for the AA store myself. Give me a few days to rummage through my stuff and see what I got. We are not in an extreme hurry, considering how long the tournament still goes. I just think that a real prize might be a bit of an incentive to participate.

Spriggy has drawn the winners!

The winners will receive the following from the AtariAge shop.

Gold Medal ($100) - Deteacher

Silver Medal ($50) - OyamaFamily

Bronze Medal ($25) - RedMiller

You will receive an email from Albert (AtariAge creator/Moderator/The Man).

Please look for it in your email to claim your prize!

THANKS SPRIGGY! For being so generous and a great guy!

I've dug through my collection and may have found something that might be interesting as a prize:

Winner of this Paper Medal Bracket can choose any two of the games depicted above. All are US NTSC games, and all are sealed, except for Bump 'n Jump, which is just CIB. The shrink wrap on Crossbow has become brittle and is broken. None of the boxes is without small dents, but overall, they are in fairly good condition for their age.

If the winner is not interested in any of these, I would ask Albert to hand out a $ 15 AA store gift card on my bill instead.

The games were part of a HUGE lot of stuff I got from a large-scale German collector a while ago. I paid a ridiculously low price for that lot, so I think it's only fair to give something of that generous gift back to the community.

I've got this exact score two more times, After missing the bronze medal by 1 point last HSC, I might be knocked out of this by .12 seconds unless the humble, strict but fair mod decides to let more people advance in this having a hard time improving on that, but no I'm not giving up on .12 seconds
