Happy Star Wars Day (May the Fourth)!

Recommended Posts

I was clued into this by some videos on Curious Marc's Youtube channel where he first installed an Aurebesh (Star Wars language) font onto an old HP terminal, and then connected to a particular Telnet site. So I decided to try the site with one of my Atari computers. No Aurebesh font, but the Telnet site works great. :)

Just to be clear - this is an animated ASCII-art version of Star Wars - the actual movie, scene by scene! It's a bit slow at 9600 baud though the RS232C port on my P:R:Connection, but it works. :)

Telnet or otherwise connect to towel.blinkenlights.nl with your favorite ASCII terminal and enjoy.
