Heaven/TQA
i browsed through my game archive and found the following games (with some of my comments...) kissin cousin... the cousin looks like montezuma revenge sprite??? and the bat like the one from pitfall2... speed hawk & tiger attack are atari uk games released 1988??? cool... never heard of them...tiger attack seems like a arcade conversion but i find it too poor done... the speech in whomper stomper is excellent... ("welcome to whomper stomper...") dimension X rulez! o'riley's mine is an excellent game... zone ranger by activision has a excellent software sprite engine combined with fast action and 360 degree scrolling... rainbow walker rox...nice idea...it is a kind of tic tac toe... hard hat mac & jawbreaker are real artifacting games... when enabling artifacting in atari800win i know how the games should look like...unfortunatly just in ntsc versions...on pal tv sets you will not notice the colors... well...thats all at the moment... "have YOU played atari today?" hve
Mindfield
Other great artifacting games include Amaurote (strange concept, but cool game with awesome music and isometric view), and Molecule Man (another isometric mazey-type game) There's a bunch of others, but I can't recall them at the moment. Jetboot Jack
For artifacting games try the non-color version of DROL and AE (Broderbund). Atari's unreleased Tower Toppler on the XE is also a good one to try (the 7800 version alos looks horrid on PAL/Emulation, but different on NTSC 'cos of artifacting) - it's a shame they went that route it on the 8bit version, it looks about 1/2 as good as the C64 version sTeVE
