Realm of Impossibility

WOW!! that's a game i havn't thought of in over 15 years, i'm willing to bet!

All I remember about it was the isometric view the game played on, like zaxxon...

anyone know of a place on the web that has screenshots posted of it?

I don't feel like downloading the roms and emulator...

The other cool thing about that game was the neat packaging the thing came in. It was packed in a record album type style!!!

Anyone else remember this??

Thanks for the link Albert, but I could not get it to work on the mac or pc. I don't know what emulator reads that .ATR file extension....

This game was one of my favorites, I even recorded synth music for each of the mazes in 1985 when I was way younger.

Those are cool screen grabs, I havent played the game since 1988? I'm programming a game similr to it in DIrector...

But this game means more to me than any other game because I used to play it with my best friend in two player mode on his 800XL, we had a blast - he died 11 years ago this month, he was 23.

Yep. I remember it. EA packaged a lot of games in that gatefold-style packaging; I also owned Boulder Dash/Construction Set in that packaging. I thought they were kinda cool, actually.

Atari800 and Atari800Win are the best emus to play ATR/XFD images. Atari800Win is, obviously, the Windows counterpart to Atari800. The only other good emu is XL-It!, though it hasn't been updated in a couple of years at least.
