Atari-Jess
The Atari 130XE will have the most RAM that came stock in an Atari 8-bit computer. it also comes with the expansion port and the FREDDIE management chip so it can truly use that extra RAM and it has a built in BASIC programming language. If you want a detachable keyboard get the XEGS, it only has 64kb of RAM and it doesn't have the expansion port jus the SIO port which the 130XE also has and most 8-bit computers for Atari will just use the 64kb unless its that new game being made right now for the 130XE only! you can also get a assembler package but thats if you want to get into the depths of insanity. but you could always just go for the 800XL which also has 64kb of RAM (it think) and is still compatable with the XE stuff. as the XE is just Xl Expanded anyways just check out the Atari Computer Database its in my signature below!
