As a matter of interest, I didn't get that red label defender .. it went for ?120.00 though!

Now I know they exist though I can look out for them...

I put a late bid in for it, but alas...

Anyhoo, that is the first I have ever seen. Let battle commence. As long as I get mine before Womble....

Kidding, Si. ;)

I don't really understand why you would bid EUR 119.99 ??? People tend to bid rounded numbers so with a bid like that you are bound to loose :D

Why not EUR 120,01 for example? Only 2 cents more and it would have gotten you the items in this case...

But still, EUR 120,- for a boxed defender??? That's crazy. Even if it's red...

Cheers,

Raymond

Fair point, it was the first number that entered my head. 8)

Actually, I am not that bothered about it, I should be able to pick it up far cheaper the next time it shows up in 2015.. ;)

My PAL Xenophobe (with a white on black P sticker on the back) has numbers CX26172 and CA400066-172. It is Copyright 1990. I am sorry I don't have a scanner or digital camera.

Thanks!

Anyone with a red NTSC "Yars Revenge", red PAL "Defender", or red PAL "Dodge Em" that can help me fill in similar information on those games?

There's a huge picture of my Dodge 'Em on the previous page, you know. :P

Yeah, yeah! Thought of that after my post! Should have edited. ;)

So what's the best guess for relese date on that one? Most seem to be 1988.

I have PAL Q*bert and Road runner

Q*Bert: CA400226-150

Road Runner: CA400066-063

Cool. Updated my list again.

Is the Q*bert model number listed as CX26150 or CX26150P with a copyright date of 1988? And the Road Runner CX2663 or CX2663P with a copyright date of 1989?

do you have any more lists?

I don't really have anything else that can't be easily found in the AA database right now. However, I am giving serious thought to making a list of Atari silver label vs. the later gray label variations. I'll need a lot of help / input on that one though.

Later grey labels became silver wax labels too, Galaxian, Moon Patrol, others maybe?  lots of oddities with them too.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "silver wax label". Do you have an example? Would the differences even show up in a scan? I'm interested in finding out more, I'm not even sure if I own anything that would meet this description.
