atarifan49
Tempest 2000 is one of the only other ones that Atari had ported to the PC. You might find copies in stores like Babbages, Software Etc in the under $20 software shelves. It was published by Interplay. Good thing about the PC version of Tempest 2000 is that you can use the Tempest 2000 soundtrack CD with the game to get high quality music during gameplay. Alien Vs. Predator was also ported to the PC. But it is not a direct port of the Jaguar game. It lacks the ambience and feel of the original Jaguar version. This is the part the game needs to make it different than every other first-person shooter that exists for the PC. Glenn

The Helper
I believe Attack of the Mutant Penguins was also released on the PC - but I am not 100% sure.
Adrian M
I believe Attack of the Mutant Penguins was also released on the PC - but I am not 100% sure. I believe you are correct with AOTMP. Also, I think Baldies was also released on PC. The other games no one has mentioned yet are: *Cannon Fodder *Sydnicate *Theme Park *Troy Aikman Football *Doom
The Helper
Well, if you are going to mention Doom then I guess you have to mention Wolfenstein as well.
The Helper
Oh yeah, don't forget Towers II.

Shaggy the Atarian
There was a game called I-War on the PC that didn't have much to do with the Jag version but the creators did have to pay Atari for the name though. I remember seeing it on the shelves a few years ago, around the same time a local store here still carried some Jag stuff.

Jagosaurus
Speaking of flip out I ran across this the other day https://archive.org/details/flipout-pc Nice, I didn't know this. Will add to my DOSbox list. Zool 2 was released on MS DOS & Amiga as well. Worth noting we just listed over 1/3 of Jag library (retail cart + CD) that is on PC. Interesting & much higher than I would've guessed.
Jagosaurus
Myst Baldies Tempest 2000 Alien vs. Predator Braindead 13 Highlander AOTMP Flip Out! Cannon Fodder Syndicate Theme Park Doom Wolf 3D Zool 2 Vid Grid Towers II NBA Jam TE Rayman Looks like NBA TE was also on DOS. Whoops! Forgot to add the CD games to my count before. 18/63=26.9% Roughly 28.6% of the Jag library ported to PC or PC ports on the Jag itself. Almost 1/3. EDIT: Add Rayman Edited April 21, 2017 by Jagosaurus

Rick Dangerous
So basically there are NO games exclusive to the Jaguar... LOL The games that are on Jag and not a single other system or PC must be less than five...
Jagosaurus
Also looks like Zoop was on DOS so add to my list above So basically there are NO games exclusive to the Jaguar... LOL The games that are on Jag and not a single other system or PC must be less than five... Worthy of its own thread perhaps? Know you're beimg a bit sarcastic but have me thinking.... Too lazy to look at a list but off hand I have 15 that aren't on PC or other consoles, sure there's more: Cybermorph, Battlemorph, IS, IS2, Hoverstrike, Hoverstrike UL, Defender 2K, Ultra Votek, I War, Val D Ski, Atari Karts, Busby iFFT, World Tour Racing, Zero 5, Breakout 2K Edit add: Wow, looks like Brutal Sports football was also on DOS. So up to 20 Jag games on PC. 31.75%. Add these to Jag exclusives above so we're at 18: Trevor McFur, Checkered Flag, Super Burnout Edited April 21, 2017 by Jagosaurus
sirlynxalot
For Val D'isere - I think a game that was about 95% the same was on SNES
82-T/A
Power Drive Rally. I also have this on CD for the IBM PC. It's exactly the same, except that the PC version has an additional mode that's like a test driver or something. But the rest of the game is entirely the same. The name is changed slightly from Power Drive Rally to just "Power Drive" http://www.mobygames.com/game/dos/power-drive
Jagosaurus
Wow, didn't know that SNES skiing game existed. It even says "Endorsed by Val D I" on the title screen. Thanks for sharing. It doesn't look as nice as the Jag version, less animation & detail of main character sprite. I've never gotten far into the Jag game, but that hazy, snowing level in the SNES footage looked terrible IMO. Power Drive Rally. I also have this on CD for the IBM PC. The PAL SNES Power Drive (also no "Rally") is definitely similar to Jag PDR but a bit watered down in the graphics department.

I'd dare say the graphics on the PC are only better because it's on a monitor rather than a television. But the music and sound effects are better on the Jag. It seems like they tried to enhance it slightly for the Jag, but then at the same time probably ran out of storage space and got rid of the "PRACTICE" feature... which is where you get to be a test driver. It was a VERY cool piece of the game... you could pick any car, any weather... all in a huge parking lot with pylons and stuff. Here's video of the PC one: Edit: The "Practice" section starts at 15:15 on the video. Edited April 22, 2017 by 82-T/A
Jagosaurus
Whoever is playing needs some practice . Practice does look cool. That course seems to be from those sections where you back in, etc. I did not care for those parts but overall love the game. Will have to load this one up on DOSbox! This puts us at 31 of 63 games, released on PC... exactly 1/3 or 33.33%.

Honestly... this would be an awesome game for Songbird Productions to make a CD version of... they could add back in the "Practice" game, and add rotary support for it. Might even be able to update the music track... Carl?
