+Mitch
Well, I finally got my Jag hooked up to my RGB monitor through the cat box tonight. What a difference over RF! No more fuzzy picture. Now I just have to get the cable so I can hook up my 7800 in RGB. Combat in glorious RGB, Oh yeah! Mitch http://atari7800.atari.org
Ze_ro
I bought a Catbox specifically so I could hook my Jaguar up in RGB (This was before they were really rare, and I got mine for about $60 or so)... then I found out the 1702 monitor that I was going to hook it up to was digital RGB instead of Analog RGB! Argh! (Why on earth would there be two types of RGB?) Eventually, I managed to get my hands on an Amiga 1084S, and was able to finally experience the heavenly clarity of RGB It was definitely worth it And now that I have my Dreamcast and Genesis hooked up to the same monitor, it's even more useful (They're not hooked up in RGB, but oh well) I can't imagine reading the text in Defender 2000 on anything less than an RGB monitor... it blurs way too much. --Zero
