Ze_ro
Is it just me, or is this possibly the most frustrating, annoying hard game ever? I mean, I don't mind a challenge, but this game is simply too much. Please, for god's sake, someone find some cheat codes so I'll actually have a chance of getting past level 8! I don't think I've even seen a quarter of the game. I actually have a book with descriptions of each of the levels, but the game is so hard that none of that matters. --Zero
Lemmi
here try this, it took abit to load for me for some reason give it time to load Cheat codes and a Strategy guide is near the bottom http://vgstrategies.miningco.com/gi/dynami...annonFodder.htm
The Helper
Here is a direct link to that guide http://www.gamewinners.com/Multi/CannonFodderStr.htm
Ze_ro
Sadly, I already knew most of this before Oh well, I guess I just suck at this game. I doubt I'll ever have the patience to beat it (Though I've heard the ending sucks anyways, so I'm probably not missing anything) --Zero (10 more...) Tyrant
I clocked it!! Ok I did it on my 3DO, but the levels should be the same. It was hard, but not really all that hard imvho. Would have been a lot easier with a mouse tho, try getting the pc (or ST) version to play. The only level I really *needed* a strategy guide for was the last phase of the last mission, where you have to devide your squad into four teams, complete the mission with no wasted weapons or dead men, and do the whole thing inside 99 seconds. Oh, and there's no map either. Trust me, the game is absolutely classic, and well worth trying to clock, just wait till you get a helecopter with homing rockets, its soooo fun. Your evil swearword filter blocked out my calling homing rockets h o m o rockets, which is clearly a joke and not an insult to homosexuals (some of my best friends are gay btw before anyone starts accusing me of things). liquid_sky
i love cannon fodder its frusterating at first but the more you play the more you become hopelessly addicted
The Helper
I have heard that Cannon Fodder has some bugs in it that can make certain levels unplayable. If there are any level codes you can find to skip to the next level you might want to try them in case your stoppage on level 8 is because of one of these bugs. woodyi76
I can't get past level 3. The ice level. I can't find out how to destroy 2 of the buildings. There are isn't anything to hit next to it.
Ze_ro
You have to throw grenades at them to blow them up... instead of shooting the ammo piles next to the other buildings, go and pick them up! --Zero
Gaztee
I got stuck on level 5. Some little swine kept shooting me from off the screen. Good to know I'm not the only one stuck on this
Tyrant
Foolish mortals, how little you truely know of what lies in wait for you.
Gunstar
Hehehe...yeah, you tell 'em. I'm stuck between phases on mission 8. On rare occasions i've managed to get past the narrow pass across to the island with the bazooka guy next to a couple shacks, and guys just keep coming...but even if I make to the next phase where you have to jump into a gun turret and take out the bunkers, I always get killed in the turret before I can shoot anything. That's where I'm stuck. I have the 3dO's strategy guide for it, and it appears to accurately describe the levels so the two versions seem to be the same (I don't own any games on the Jag/3DO that I already have on the other). It hasn't helped much, knowing what to do is only half the battle...then there's the other half... "WAR...Never been sooo much fun...WAR...Never been so much fun!" Same here... Either I'd get killed on the way to the turret, or I'd haul ass into it, then blow myself up trying to kill the hordes of enemies about to kick my ass out of the turret. I think I've gotten past it once or twice, and the next level wasn't any easier. I think it was a snow level... Naturally, even once you beat that phase from hell, it won't let you save until you beat five more --Zero
Tempest
The problem with the Jaguar version are the controls. Cannon Fodder really needs a mouse to play correctly. On the PC I got to around level 30 or so. Tempest
Adrian M
This game had the potential to be fun, but it suffers from bad design and a totally unbalanced difficulty curve. It starts out too easy and suddenly becomes nearly impossible! Bad game design 101.
