Flea Market Brag

Tempest

Recommended Posts

For the first time in almost 6 months I actually had a major score at the flea market!

Atari 5200 (all boxed!)

----------

Gorf x2

Blue Print

Mountain King

Krazy Shootout

2 boxed Controllers

K-Razy Shootout loose is really rare, I can't believe I found it boxed! Box is torn but it still looks good. I also got

Atari 2600 (see this post is 2600 related)

----------

03 Star Ship (boxed)

Slot Machine (boxed)

But the best thing I found was a Japanese Famicom (NES) system with 15 games. I don't know how rare these are (can anyone tell me?) but it came with:

Starwars

Hello Kitty (don't know the exact name)

SMB

SMB 3

Rockman 6

Tetris

Adventure Island (or whatever it was called in Japan)

Gradius

Kirby (pink cart with Kirby on it)

Mario Open Golf

Knight Gundam Story

Barcode World

Yoshi's Cookie

Ultraman 2? (Green cart with yellow label, has the Ultraman guy on it).

???? 2 (Green Bandai cart, has a girl crying and a guy with a raised fist about to hit a little guy with a cane (a wizard?))

All the games came in a cool SMB3 game holder case. Can anyone tell me what the these Famicom games are worth or how rare they are?

Gorf, Krazy Shootout, BLueprint, and Slot Machine are for trade if someone's interested.

Quite a find there Tempest.

I hit a few pawn shops this weekend. I did manage to find a copy of Crazy Climber but of course no box. Only paid $0.50 for it, so it was worth the price.

Just saw on the front page that Elevator Action will be available, along with the Atarisoft version of DigDug, Joust, and Pac-Man for the Coleco. Definitely got to try to get a copy of them

Well, I'm military, and you can find amazing bargains in pawn shops outside Army bases. Anyone who has been in the Army can tell you. LOL

I bought over 100 games this weekend, but none were very rare. Most of the games that I bought were bought because they were in better condition than the ones I already have, or I didn't have them.

Tempest, you're an "in the know" guy. Any idea how much Elevator Action and those AtariSoft games for the Coleco will go for at CGE?

I don't know for sure, but usually those type of things go for $20 to $30. Just a rough guess based on past offerings. I'll go check what last years games ran and let you know. Elevator Action may cost a little more because of the nice box and label but the DP guys aren't out to make money so the price will be as low as possible.

Holy hell! How do you find all this stuff?? In the last month, I got a few games that we don't already have (have almost 250 now for the 2600). At a flea market, I got an atari, tele-games center, driving controllers, keypad controllers, plus the basic programming cart with instructions and overlays, all for $2.00! And last week at a thrift store, I got copies of Bump 'n Jump and London Blitz for $1.00 each! I don't know where to go here in Pittsburgh, PA to find scores like the ones posted above!
