Tempest
Ok, this isn't Atari 2600 related but it's still damn cool and I just have to share it with you. One of my fellow co-workers just handed me a box full of Arcadia 2001 games. He said he was cleaning out his sisters basement and found them. I had told him that I collected old games before and he thought I'd like them. This is awesome! I have most of the games already but I can always use better boxes or labels. Nothing too rare in the box but still they're Arcadia games which aren't very common to begin with. Some of the boxes have moldy dust on them but they all cleaned up nice except for one which was on top of the box and had to be thrown out (the box was just crawling with mold) and an instruction book which disitergrated on contact (from mold most likely). It's so cool to have something like this happen at work. I guess you never know where your next game is coming from. One of my other co-workers said he'd look through his basement and see if he can find the old Atari he has down there. Tempest
+-^CrossBow^-
That rules Tempest, This same scenario is how I obtained my 2 NES Decks...and the 20 some odd games I have for them. One day...I notice that one of my co-workers had an old NES sitting in a milk crate in his van. I asked him what on earth it was doing there...and he said.."Oh! Yeah...I am taking these to Goodwill to see if they want them." I immediatly spoke up and stated...he could find it a better home if he gave it to me. And thus that is how it began. I also got my 13inch Magnavox from his also...I can't complain when it's all FREE!!! Keep playing them ETs guys...
