videotwit
Sean Kelly makes a great 2600 multicart. Check out his web page for more information about it. It works by using a series of dip switches to select the game you want to play. Set the switches - plug the cart into your 2600 - and off you go. It works fabulously. Sean is one of the most reputable people out there in the 2600 / classic gaming community, and produces multicarts for the 2600, 5200, ColecoVision, and Vectrex IIRC. Welcome aboard and have some fun! [ 06-11-2001: Message edited by: twit ]
J-DEE
Twit, Do you have one of the mulicards from Sean? I was thinking of buying from him but wanted to check it out first. Has anyone else bought from him? what was your experience?
videotwit
No, I personally don't own one, but I know several people who do, and who love them. I have had experience dealing with Sean in other instances, though, and he is a really good guy. I'm sure there are others on this board who actually own one of Sean's multicarts. I'm sure one or two of them could give you a "first-hand" account.
Joel D. Park
I have one. I bought it at the Philly Classic, from Sean in person I believe. They are really awesome. I was amazed at how it just works. Just flip a couple dip switches and you will be playing the atari like a champ. I had some fears that the dip switches might wear out or something, but it all seems to be a very solid construction. I've never tried to order from him off line, but I doubt he'll give you any trouble. He's a member of Digital Press www.digitpress.com, they are all real Trustworthy and Well known. MattyXB
I hope I get one soon. But I have not buy it from Sean. I have my buy on ebay.de. It was better for me and the prize was not so high. And it was luck. I have ask Sean before what they cost. And then weeks later I saw one on ebay, for a better prize. There is an instruction in there you can read how must the 8 dip switches stand to start the different games. Matthias
J-DEE
Hello, I'm new to the board, but I am a long time fan of atari. I am in the process of re acquiring some of my favorite games. I recently came upon this site and read about the multicart. Anyone have one? How do they work, what should I look for if I buy one? What should I stay away from? Any information anyone could provide will be appreciated.
