urgent i need help on Ghostbusters for Atari 2600

hey, i jus need to know, what is up with this game. i hit select and then i am at the screen where i purchase the items and when i purchase everything (or i purchase til i have no money at all) nothing happens, what's the deal? what do i do next, if this is all to the game imma be disappointed. i never owned this game when i had an Atari a decade or more ago and i need to know what in the hell do i do with it next besides sit at the screen where i purchase items.

If I was at home right now I'd fire it up and tell you exactly what to do. I think you either select something on the screen, hit reset, b/w, or a difficulty switch.

put the player 2 difficulty switch to the opposite of where you have it when you start the game.

 

Later on..you have to use the player 1 difficulty switch to "bait" the marshmallow man.

 

I may have those backwards..but the difficulty switches are the knowledge you seek!!

hey thankx much, i jus got the game couple days ago in the mail and i put it in the system and tryed to play it and i was still at the one screen and, i so had everyone try and help me out and nothing seemed to work. but thankx alot for that info.
