bsaenz32
Where's the best place to buy/trade for games? Ebay people frequently ask for unrealistic prices for very common games. Any suggestions?

King Asmo
You can get good deals on eBay, but you have to be really patient. I think the best thing to do would be to propose deals on the board, and see if anyone goes for them.. such as: 1. I'll buy Oink! for 2 dollars plus shipping OR 2. Is anyone interested in trading River Raid for my copy of Star Raiders? etc. (and no, I don't really mean those). Tho I would buy a copy of Swordquest Waterworld for $65. Joel D. Park
I agree that Ebay can get some good prices. I've often bought in bulk and sold off or traded the carts I didn't need.
King Asmo
I agree Joel. I think if you're a new collector starting out and you can't find much locally, it's probably a good idea to save up $100-200 and try to win some of the larger lots on eBay. Bidding on each game individually is too expensive, and you'll end up spending most of your money on shipping. I'm looking to win a large NES lot. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.. and extra money in my PayPal account. Mike
Ze_ro
Even though I complain about eBay fairly often, I do find some pretty good deals there once in a while. I've gotten quite a few 4's for a dollar or two, which is pretty good in my opinion. Anything really rare though is going to be a hard fight to win. --Zero
