bones
First time writer, or something of that sort...nice alternate to RGVC, certainly a hipper interface. I'll have to learn some of the html and character goodies on here (: Anyhoo, the volts to run the 2600 is a constant, 9v...but what about the amps? Is 100ma enough to run the 2600 reliably? I know that the standard is 500ma, but was wondering how low the amps can go to run the 2600. Does any use a 100 ma power supply with their system? How well does it work? Ze_ro
It might. I use to use a 300mA supply for my Atari, and had no problems whatsoever. Try it out for a few minutes... you won't damage the Atari, but if the supply starts to get unusually hot, then stop using it. It's possible the Atari might force more current from it than it can handle. --Zero
