+-^CrossBow^-
Atari70s: What is the cart? I mean if is something fairly common it might be easier to just get another one. But if it is a rare one then then I can see your point in trying to get it fixed. I might be able to fix it assuming that the Rom itself isn't damaged, otherwise there isn't much I can do when that is the case. just let me know. atari70s
nah not like the rom damaged the case isnt sitting right and the dust protecter needs to be fixed and adjusted but i would fix it except i dont want ot damage the top lable. The cart it self is a 1986©copywrite and its a night driver cart ( my only 1986 copywrite one of that title. ) can you help?
+-^CrossBow^-
okay...I think I see what your saying. You state the case isn't sitting right? Am I to assume then that somehow the case halves are misaligned? Also you state the dust cover doesn't sit right? I am not sure what your saying on that one. About the best I could really do is to try and hairdryer the label off and then take the whole cart apart. Then...I would disect some common cart I have like a pacman or go buy a common combat of which I know where I can get like 15 right now and then swap the cases out basically. That is at least what I would do. The 86 cases and crappy dust covers are pretty much useless all the way around. I know that while it is fine, I am thinking of swapping the case out with my 1986 label version of Krull and putting it into a better quality early 80's cart case. Anyway, that is the plan I would follow on it.
atari70s
well if you can fix it without damaging the top label thats the important part and is the only reason why i want to send it out. ( hey you got an extra Krull from 86?) well if you can help me please let em knwo let me know what itll cost.
+-^CrossBow^-
Yeah...I can do it. I will practice the label bit with a spare cart or two I have sittin around here. That way I know I can get your label off without a problem. As for extra Krull carts...heheh..I haven't seen a single Krull in the wild ever. I got mine off Yahoo for 2.50 and felt pretty good about it. Anyway, I will send you an email sometime after next week (I am on vacation now and will be until the end of the week). But again, I will probably go and pick up a loose semi okay Combat from one of the shops in town...and then remove its label as the test. Then take the cart apart and replace it with your prom and apply your label over that. As for cost, Well...really the carts are cheap (99 cents or less if I really look). and the rest is just time. I am sure that among your 500+ carts you got something I haven't got and have an extra of. So well can go from there. Send me an email with more details and a trade list if you have one avail. My profile has my email here...or you can send me a private message.
