Joel D. Park
Well it's finally complete, actually it's been complete for a while but in light of the last couple days, I didn't really care. http://www.atari2600.net/aspMassCarts.asp Here is every loose cart in my collection that isn't in a shrink wrapped box, all displayed as thumbnails on one page. And via Pitfall Harry's (Ben's) suggestion, if you click any of the thumbnails they will open to a larger image. I apologize that some scans look different than others, I've been scanning carts for a long time and my software and hardware has changed a few times. You can also check out my news for any other changes that their may have been: http:www.atari2600.net
RangerG
Joel -- wow! awesome scans. Thankfully I have a DSL line and they all come up fairly fast. Nice work! -- RG
Joel D. Park
Thanks, If I get complaints about the speed I can easliy shrink the thumbnails down some. And in all honesty, I'd bet my collection is pretty unimpressive compared to most of you guy's collection. I've got a few rarities here any there but most is just the commons that everyone has. Joel D. Park
I'll condcider breaking it up.. My big problem is that the whole thing is filled from a database, so I don't really have a good halfway mark. It looks like the screen doesn't load all at once so maybe it will be ok. Alex
Personally, I like it in one huge file. Sure, that may limit its viewing to those with broadband, but that's also what makes it unique. I've never seen so many cart scans on a single page, it's extremely cool!
Tempest
Interesting, that's the first time I've ever seen the Rust colored Text Night Driver label before. I was begining to doubt it existed. Tempest
Joel D. Park
Yea, the night driver is dated 1986 I believe, good eye. I don't have any idea where that one came from, possibly Canada, I get alot of funny labels from Canada.
Tempest
It's one of those 86 labels. They made a ton of weird colors and big errors on the 1986 labels. I should write an article about that some day. Most of them say "For Use With Paddle Controllers", but since Night Driver uses them anyway it's no big deal. I know I'm missing a few other weird 86 lables (but I've seen these): Sky Diver - White Text Canyon Bomber - Pink Text Blackjack - Picture Label (Yellow Text) Demons to Diamonds - Magenta Text (never seen this one) Tempest

Unbeliever
All I can say is...WOW! That's a great shot of your collection. I'm very envious. Compared to what I have at the moment, you might as well not even count mine! LOL! At some point, I'll put my collection up for all to view as well, but I'm rather embarrased at this point to do so. Once again, excellent pic of your cartridges. You're a true Atari collector.
AtariDude
Wow! That is one large collection. Lucky for me that I have DSL or might need to send out for pizza by the time it would have loaded at 56K. How long did it take you to amass such a large number of cartridges? Do you still have time to play them or do you only play certain favorites?
Ze_ro
Well, consider my butt kicked. Instead of making the thumbnails smaller, I'd recommend instead that you split it into two pages (Though this is probably what you wanted to avoid). The thumbnails would be hard to differentiate if they were much smaller (especially the text labels). That being said, I had no problem loading up everything (hooray for cable modem!). Looks great! --Zero
NE146
Did the page go down? I can no longer get to it
Joel D. Park
Maybe our internet connection was down, it looks like it should be all good now. Let me know if anyone can get to it. Please try it again. Thanks, Joel D. Park

At that time, I lived in Denver Colorado and got many of my games at Denver flea markets. What really turned my Atari collection around was about 250 boxed atari games a friend and I found at the flea market. I got my web page up and running and they traded like crazy. I filled in alot of holes in my collection.. Once my page started trading well, I started buying some lots of games off ebay. This allowed me stuff to trade and I could keep anything I needed from the lots. I still need many rare carts and I know my collection can't even begain to compare to folks like Jah Fish and Tempest. Thanks for everything though.
Tempest
I should take a picture of my collection. I think I have a computer camera somewhere that I could use, what I really need is a digital camera. Try and imagine a wall of 2600, 7800, and Colecovision games stacked floor to ceiling. The 2600 portion of the wall is about 6 feet high and about 4 feet wide. They're all in serial number order by company. Now I really want to take a picture... Joel D. Park
Sounds fantastic. I'd love to see it. Hey if someone gets a chance, please try to view the mass carts picture again and tell me if the page is working. I can see it fine from here, but I'm local. I got as far as the second Tennis and then its followed by a whole bunch of little white squares with red x's in them. Joel D. Park
Perhaps it was a timeout or something. You may just try refreshing.. Sorry you guys are having problems like this. It might just be too much for our Pentium 160Mhz Web server to handle.

I think you should keep it all on one page, it doesn't take that long to load on a fast connection. ..Al
Mot
You could (stating the obvious) keep this as your fast connection page and shrink the thumbnails down /chop it up (in less images/page) for low connection people. But I think you should keep this one as is, I do enjoy seeing a lot of carts I've never seen before all in one page. Thanks.
ATARIPITBULL
All I can say is that you did a great job with this site. I have just a modem but your pictures came up very fast and I see a few more games that I want to ad to my collection. (Keep up the great work).
