ratfink
I have (had?) BMX Airmaster complete in box and it was mint mint mint! But it's been MIA for the last month or so! Argh! How about you guys? Ever lost complete track of one of your prized carts?
Joel D. Park
I know I've sold label variations I was meaning to keep. That's about it. Nothing real rare.
Tempest
I lost the box for Tapeworm somewhere, but that'a about it. I keep pretty close tabs on my collection. Tempest
Jess Ragan
I loaned a whole lot of Intellivision and 2600 games and systems to a friend when I moved to Illinois ten years ago. I never got them back, and I'm sure he sold them in a garage sale by now. Frustrating... JR
+johnnywc
I feel your pain JR... In the mid 80's I loaned my entire Atari collection (over 100 carts from 1978-) to a 'friend' when I was into my 800xl. Now I'm back to the 2600 and regretting it every day... Oh well, life goes on...
Marco(2)
While I was just getting into online collecting, I traded away a boxed 2600 Farmyard Fun (Taiwan ROC), assuming I would be able to find it again some time soon. Well, it's been 8 years and I'm still searching... Cheers, Marco
lesboulez
My mom threw out my Colecovision and about 35 carts when I left for college. When I came home after gradution and started moving my stuff out, I asked "Mom, where's my Colecovision?" She said: "What's that?" I said. "Mom, my video games!!!!!" "Oh, I threw them in the trash last year." URGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH I still don't have all the games I used to have.

I feel for you, Randy. My Mom sold my Atari 2600 collection when I left for College too. Fortunately, I've been able to replace everything I had back then (and more... much, much more)
Ze_ro
I've lost a few Gameboy games, but that was long ago before I really started collecting. The games I lost were Fortress of Fear and NBA Jam Tournament Edition, which were both actually quite good At one point too, I gave my ColecoVision and accessories (About 30 games, roller controller, etc) to my dad so that my step-mother's grandson could play it... unfortunately, I haven't been able to get it back Hopefully the kid will grow out of it or something. Even if he doesn't, I'm well on my way to getting back all the games that I really enjoyed anyways (Still need Pepper II, Gorf, and BC's Quest For Tires). I keep pretty good track of all the stuff I buy lately though, so I doubt any of this will happen again anytime soon. --Zero

StanJr
Please don't make me relive the fact that I dumped all my 2600 stuff (two systems: a sixer and a JR, and over 70 games of varying modern rarity all with box and manuals) into a yard sale when I was 15 and got my NES. Its all too horrible..... mommy... Shuddering Stan
