Heavy Sixer questions

Hi,

I'm new to atariage so if I mess up please forgive me. First let me say high all! I was fortunate to pick up a sunnyvale heavy sixer about 4 weeks ago. It is a factory reconditioned unit, says so on the box and the system. My questions are as follows. Did the joysticks have something on the top of them? There are small holes (on the very top of them) and a slight indentation in them.The box has a silversticker on it about the size of a half dollar, that says ATARI store on it. Was there an Atari store? Finnaly I have most of the packing material except for the joysticks, were they in some sort of cardboard too?
