MERRY XMAS ATARIANS!

Well, it's all said and done over here, but Merry Christmas everyone.

Hope you all get something you want (but if you all get LOTR protos, they won't be as valuable - you have been warned )....

Just for kicks, I wrapped a few of my 2600 carts and threw them under the tree along with a heavy sixer... my parents were looking at each other as if to say 'Did you give that to him?'

Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone

Hope everyone had a great Xmas!!!

Hey liquid_sky. I didn't get any games either. Luckily I had bought myself some a few days before Xmas. Dreamcast- Gauntlet Legends, and Legacy of Cain. I heard Gaunlet wasn't too good. But I think it rocks and have playing it every day.

Also bought a complete MIB Atari 2600 MASH.

What did everyone else get game wise???

Just wanted to add my yuletide greetings an say Merry Christmas! Hope everyone got what they wanted, even if it was a little quality time with your favourite Atari machine or emulator. :-) Myself, the only computer-oriented thing I ended up getting was a new 100g hard drive. This wasn't a surprise, however, since I'm the one that bought it. :-) On the plus side however it's given me an enormous amount of breathing room to expand my digital Atari collection (among other things.) :-)

Speaking of expanding, I also ate entirely too much for my own good. Another annual side effect of yuletide festivities.

But anyway, have a safe and happy new year. 2002 may turn out to be a year in which we may once again start watching the new Atari with interest.

I actually got several Atari related items this year for X-mas. Among them were mainly new Lynx games...hehe...always fun.

The wife apparently discovered 4Jays this month and did most of my shopping there. She got me for the Lynx NIB:

Crystal Mines 2

Steel Talons

Used CIB she got me Bill and Ted's. However, when I opened the box I discovered the cart wasn't in there?!

Also from some other place on-line my wife got me my 3rd...yes...3rd Atari related T-shirt. It has a screen grab of the game Asteroids (Arcade version) on the front and on the back has the wonderful Atari Fuji Logo...also the whole shirt was done in an offset red and blue to give it all a 3-D look with the old 3D comic glasses...heheh...too bad I don't have a pair so I could really see the effect.

Anyway, lots of fun for me...and Cyrstal Mines 2 Rocks!!! Steel Talons is also fun but difficult trying to meet all the objectives in so little time. Still it has speech and is impressive to see polys on a portable that dates from 88'...hehe

Atari on dudes!!!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I hope that everyone found something that they enjoyed under their Christmas tree this year. I did get some 2600 cartridges from a friend so it was great to be able to replay some of the games that I have played in a while.

I hope that everyone has a great new year filled with a lot of joy, health, and Atari stuff!

I didn't get anything Atari-related for Christmas, but that's not really too surprising. Most of the people I know don't buy me Christmas presents. Those that do probably think I'm crazy as it is where Atari stuff is concerned and that I don't need to be encouraged in that department. I did get some Lego Mindstorms, though. Oh yeah, my birthday is today (Thursday), the Mindstorms were actually a birthday present.
