cas
Am I the only one here who's using this incredible emulator ? Atari800MacX http://members.cox.net/atarimac/ Who else on this board is using it and how do you feel about it ? Nope, I'm using it as my primary Emulator, I think it is the best one available for my needs (Programming). The Machine-Monitor, however, could be improved on any Atari800 Emulator. Something like BiboMon or QMeg on an real Atari is still better. Some improvement ideas: * intelligent DisAssembler (like IDA) * move memory * read / write sector * build in dos commands (DOS 2.5 and Sparta) in monitor * monitor not in extra host-os window but implemented as an overlay ROM in 6502 code (no need to leave full screen session) * full (macro) assembler in monitor (how about BiboMon or ca65?) * bank-switching support * memory breakpoints (breaks if named memory will change to specified value, something like: run pgm until $F0 > $40) * single stop trace in 6502 ASM sourcecode (loaded/linked from external file) Best regards Carsten
Albert
I also use it quite a bit for running 8-bit and 5200 software. I'm glad there's such a top-notch 8-bit/5200 emulator for OS X. ..Al
oesii
It's my favorite emulator on the Mac side, great compatability and it's real easy to use. For you PC folks, I would compare it to STeem for functionality and overall ease of use.
