Pal Systems on NTSC TVs

I've been seeing DVD players showing up that have all sorts of connections and are reigon free as well as able to convert between PAL and NTSC. I will eventually buy one...But Im wondering if its possible to somehow run the Atari thru the player. If it had the right connections it seems this would be possible. All the more reason to get one!!!!

it should work through the DVD player. same here. i connect my atari through a PAL/NTSC-supporting VCR and it's no problem to play both games, or to connect both systems ....

can't somebody find a US-store selling PAL-adapters cheaply?

so instead of discussing the topic 1000 times, we could just post the link.

and the gaming community would stop beeing separated in PAL and NTSC.

globalisation for us (collectors) is only depending on this adapter: the first one finding a cheap adapter sold regularly in usa (orderable for everyone in usa) can add himself the title of "Great Unitor Of The Gaming Community"

Okay, I've been doing some research on this one, there are a few shops stateside and a number of importers in Hong Kong selling Pal-Ntsc converters, however - they are all ridiculously expensive, I've been searching for a while and there are no cheap options. The best and seemingly only way is to route through a compatible vcr, even a new vcr will cost less than a converter.
