doctorclu
Has the 5200 version of Star Raiders been ported to the Atari 8-bit computers yet? I know what some are saying "What's the difference?" Well, there were a few differences... like the long range scan identifying the objects with little captions. Beyond that, not sure of what else. But would be nice. Thanks! mos6507
Is the control _really_ analog or just interpolated back to 8 directions? When you push the joystick farther, do you turn faster? You know, in theory it should be possible to hack a 5200 stick to be used with the Atari 8-bits since it's just two paddles stuck together. JB
Is the control _really_ analog or just interpolated back to 8 directions? When you push the joystick farther, do you turn faster? Yes. There's 4 degrees of sensitivity in all 4 directions. You know, in theory it should be possible to hack a 5200 stick to be used with the Atari 8-bits since it's just two paddles stuck together. 843580[/snapback] Indeed it should be.... though I've heard the second fire button is mapped to the keyboard inputs, not the second paddle trigger. The REALLY messy part is the keypad.
