www.atarimania.com
Hello, I was reading a fairly old issue of the classic UK mag Computer & Video Games and there is a mention of three Bomb cartridges on the verge of being released for the A8. The games are even listed in some UK dealer ads! The titles are Funny Tadpole, Fortune Chase and Indianapolys (spelling seems to be correct). Anyone have more information? Who were the guys behind Bomb? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
Tempest
I never heard of Bomb games being planned for the 8-bit before, but it wouldn't surprise me either. Several 2600 companies had 8-bit plans that never panned out (Zimag and Apollo for instance). There could be prototypes out there, who knows? I too would like to hear who was behind Bomb games, they're one of those companies I know almost nothing about. Tempest
www.atarimania.com
I remember there was an article on Apollo in Electronic Games and there were several A8 / 5200 titles mentioned. The company folded before they could release anything. ZiMaG sold several A8 games on disk and tape but at least two titles are MIA: Kerplop and Quest for Inca Gold.
