Stroxalarb
Can anyone tell me how to open a cartridge without ripping the label? Would I damage anything by doing so? And what can I do to fix a cartridge that rattles because it isnt held together properly? Thanks guys.
sonnenhexer
Just an idea: what about holding the label over hot water, so that the water vapour loses the label in one piece and you can glue it later to the cart. Just an idea and not tested by myself. Michael
Stroxalarb
Yes......I was thinking to myself today- the only way to do it that I could see was to somehow soak the label off then glue it on again.....is there anything inside that would get damaged if it was touched? Cassidy Nolen
I use a hairdryer on the label and just lift it off carefully. Put it down on wax paper while you are working, and then heat it and slide it back on. I have had to do that several times, and when I made the Polo carts, I got the old labels off every time that way. Be careful as you pull, and you may not have to remove the whole thing. When I put them back together, I do not put the screws back in either. That way, you can get it open if you need to, and the cases will still be plenty strong to hold the game shut (not like we ride our bikes with them in our pockets anymore!!!) Skatepunk60
Acctually Khrissun had the BEST way to do this consisting of using a hobby knife to cut a tiny "X" over the screw fold up the peices do your work replace the screw fold "X" back down almost totally invisible if done right
