Help!!! My 2600's gone crazy!!!

I've got a 2600 4 switch system that works fine for 10-15 minutes, then the screen goes b/w and gets all fuzzy and slowly gets worse until you can't play anymore. My switch box is working properly. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is your power supply the right one or a homemade type? How about the connections? Try a differnt channel maybe.

I have one that does the same thing. As soon as you turn it off, then back on, it works for another 15 or 20 minutes.

This sounds like what happens when the voltage drops when running a 2600 on a 9V battery.

 

I would also suggest that the problem lies with your power supply. Maybe not delivering enough voltage? and that the modulator starts putting out a weak signal?

 

The supply has to be 9V 500mA

The power supply I'm using is the original one. It works properly for my heavy sixer.

I'll try getting a new power supply though.
