hedgehog
Is this a good deal? My friend is selling his 2600 for 30$ dollars, it has all connections, a joystick, and 3 games. Think I should consider buying it?
maximebeauvais
it looks like a good deal to me if you can trust your friend
pitfallaimee
I wouldn't pay it, but it's not a terrible price. I hope that joystick works...

Ze_ro
You could probably find it for cheaper than that if you're willing to look. Here's my price estimate given the pricing schemes of the local Value Village's: Atari 2600: $4 Power Supply: $4 RF Switchbox: $2 3 Games: $3 Joystick: $2 ------------------ Atari Experience: Priceless Sorry, I just had to do it Those are the prices I generally find stuff for around here anyways (I should probably point out that those are Canadian prices). If you're too lazy to do the searching, I'd say offer him $20 or $25. Anyone who's willing to sell their Atari is not likely to ever use it again anyways. --Zero
Atarian7
I got an atari 2600 with 24 games for 20.59 on ebay. It was in very good condition too.
Atari Master
That miht be a good idea in my opinion. You don't have to wait, you also don't have to pay shipping.
Noble Kale
Well, I'd like to put this into perspective. The second atari I got (I started off with one from when I was a kid), I picked up from ebay for ~$30 (boxed, jr, with 15 games) The last 2600 I picked up (hell, the last 4 I picked up) have all been about $3 each. But, that's with joysticks & power supplies sold seperately. Therefore, if you want the games, *and* the console, it's not too much money to spend. But make sure you keep looking
hedgehog
Im jut oing to look around a little more, and try to fnd one for a lower price.
King Atari
Yeah, I wouldn't pay $30 for a system as common as the 2600. Maybe a 5200 or 7800, but certainly not a 2600.
