Atari freak 1
Why wouldn't they be ntsc?
Smada Bez
Canada is an NTSC country. So they were most likely NTSC.
smile_walle
Hi rpmxxipt!! Ok, Canada(included Province of Quebec) and USA is NTSC. Jason
ATARIPITBULL
I have bought six 2600 games from people all over Canada and there all NTSC but you can still ask the seller if he knows which one he has.
CincYnoTi
nice sleeper auction. not only had the silver gravitar, but also the original style manual that goes with it! most stuff i've bought from canada was ntsc, but that is no sure thing. i also bought a bomb/assault from someone in canada (ljnwrestler or something like that, sold AS IS, no returns! ) that turned out to be PAL. also, have seen some other obvious pal games (klax, adventures on gx-12) sold in canada by people claiming they did not know if it was pal or not. rpmxxipt
So is PAL kind of the yucky mucky egg-fu-yungy kind of thing that noone wants to touch, or do we make exceptions for strange euro titles when we see fit? And SO.. hardly ever question a Quebec seller? (almost rhymes.. starts a Kenny Rogers riff... da da da da-dum) Thanks for all your good advice! - RPM
Ze_ro
PAL is not used in Canada, so anything from Quebec should be NTSC.. unless of course, the guy is collecting odd foreign games. I did get a PAL copy of Dragonfire from a Canadian seller once... I'm not sure why he had it though. All the other games I bought from him were NTSC. --Zero
CincYnoTi
the guy i bought bomb/assault also sells other rare games (tooth protectors), so my guess is he knew it was pal. so if someone says they don't know if it is pal or ntsc, assume it is pal, or gamble it is ntsc and bid accordingly. rpmxxipt
Hi all - This might seem like an eBay question, but it's actually pretty general.. I was going to bid on this sleeper auction this morning http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=1352512897 - but I was a little thrown by the seller's location. Were Atari carts sold in the Quebec area good old NTSC? Or were they something a little different, like O-pee-chee baseball cards? - RPM - Darned snipers with money.. I never even got my bid in
