Rick Weis Posted May 21, 2002 Share Posted May 21, 2002 just received my QB SE #63 first thing, thank you Andrew!! the box is MUCH better then the box that came out for the first (38?) the new chip works perfect also!!! nice to be able to play it without the lines on the screen! anyone else gets theirs yet?? However, the earlier boxes are more 'special' as they were made at a sheltered workshop. So, in their own way, each is special. I had announced plans to allow earlier box owners to purchase a replacement (new style) box, but nobody took up that offer - so I assume all are happy. Thanks for the kind words about Qb. Looking forward to getting it all finalised - but am awaiting the next/final delivery of boxes. I'll chase that up today, and expect continued rollout (I'm up to #72 or so) during this coming week. The reception of Qb has been very good - no complaints so far about the delivered product. I have actually packed all remaining units (about 10) - but I have to hold off shipping till my next paycheck (15th). As earlier noted I'm actually taking a loss on these and funding the final deliveries out of my own pocket. Combined with my recent medical expenses, needless to say ... it hurts. Still, I'm happy to be close to finishing the initial deliveries. Still due to everyone - manual and replacement labels. I'll get to those - no doubt slowly - but they will come.
