DEBRO
I don't know if this topic has been started here already (I can't find it). Who is planning to go to the PhillyClassic? My wife and I are still discussing it. She wants to do other things if she goes while I'm at the convention. I was planning on bring a 5200 cart of my 5200 demo program (slightly changed a little from it's original form) with source code and 5200 programming documentation to share. With my current schedule though I haven't been able to advance on any of these items. Hopefully in the next week or two I can continue on. Anyway, who's going? Tempest
I'm going. I'll be displaying my 5200 prototype collection over at Curt's 5200's 20th anniversery booth. This year I wont get stuck behind a freakin' booth all day! You'd better go, I still need help on Cypher! Tempest
CosmicJoke
I believe I will be going too. I'm somewhere between 300-400 miles away, so, it's not too long a drive. I will probably be dragging around my rather reluctant girlfriend. She's not into games much, but, she is pretty understanding of my "game geekness". If everyone going has some time to spare after PhillyClassic, you should go into Philadelphia. A lot of American history is contained in that city. It will be fun to meet some of the members of this messageboard

eric_ruck
I'm in. If anyone is coming from the area around Columbia, MD, there should still be one seat left in the car. I've been getting rid of my extras so I don't have much to trade this year, and my 16-month-old triplets have sort of put a crimp in my collecting budget, so I'm more planning on a meet and greet, and see neat stuff. And I was going to stash my Lynx protos and anything else someone asks me to bring in the trunk in case anyone wants a show and tell. MrRetroGamer
I'll be there again this year. I don't think my wife has the same "passion" for video games like I do, so most likely I'll let her stay home and make her own plans for that day! MattG/Snyper2099
I'll be there for sure (Matt Gauslin) with two of my friends (Bill and Kevin) so far. We're driving from Cincinnati. I always bring all my trade stuff to events which will vary widely this time kudos
Cassidy Nolen
I'm in, too. This time I wont be trying as hard to sell stand up games and will concentrate on my 2600 collection. Anyone bringing Odyssey 1 stuff for sale or trade? Cassidy
eric_ruck
I don't suppose you know if anyone is bringing an accelerated Ms. Pacman standup for the arcade there? That's a specific request from my brother-in-law. Eric
DEBRO
Is anyone bringing an 8-bit computer with an SIO2PC cable? I have a lot of old disks I would like to get transfered to my PC but I don't have an SIO2PC cable or a disk drive (in my parent's storage unit somewhere). I really hope I haven't waited too late. I would really hate to lose these programs.
