Ze_ro
Important note: This week's competition has ended. If you still wish to discuss Crash Dive and compare scores, feel free to do so, but no further scores will be added to the list Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to score as many points as possible by destroying enemy ships, helicopters, planes, giant sharks, sting rays, squids, angler fish and lobsters before running out of fuel or crashing the flying sub. You may also acquire points by picking up the treasures that lie on the bottom of the sea. Game Information Game Name: Crash Dive Released By: 20th Century Fox, 1983 Left Difficulty: A / Expert - Enemies appear in random order Right Difficulty: B / Novice Game Mode: Default Chosen By: Cybergoth Post your scores right here in this thread, and I will add them to the list. Remember to play the game with the recommended game mode and difficulty settings as shown above so that your scores will be consistent with everyone elses. The deadline for posting scores is Thursday, June 22nd at 1:30 AM (CST). If you want to suggest a game for future weeks, please send me a private message and let me know! I will add your game to the list. One one game per person will be kept on the list, so you will not be able to suggest a game until your first game is played! Anyone can play! Just post a score and I'll add you to the list! Please read the Rules & Information if you haven't already done so! In case you don't have the manual, AtariAge has a typed copy and a scanned copy of it available online. The manual doesn't contain any specific hints, but there is a good bit of info in there that might be helpful to you. Tips:Always shoot the helicopter/plane and the boat first before you dive into the sea. Your starting position for a new wave should be: far left and at the same altitude of an upcoming helicopter/plane. Save fuel by speeding up without risk after you've shot the helicoper/plane and the boat, while the water creatures are still swimming around. It's better to reach the fuel ship in time than to waste too much fuel by shooting all the sea creatures. Whenever possible, keep shooting a sea monster in the back to reach a guarded treasure. --Ze_ro

Ze_ro
Well, that's the end of this week's edition of the High Score Club. I hope you all enjoyed Crash Dive. I have to work three shifts over today and tomorrow, so I'll update the standings this weekend. --Zero
