  1. Mega ST's - you can't just put in TOS 2.xx ROMS like for like without some extra jiggery pokery. There are some boards available from worldwide sellers to enable this for you.
  2. Define 'dead', won't spinup or just Atari can't see it? I had 2 'dead' megafiles, one was saved by low-level formatting, the other was left on for an hour then it came to life (both obviously could spin). Adrians digital basement (he has two channels) on youtube has loads of videos of bring back MFM drives from the dead well worth a look before you chuck them away.
  3. I have the original FB ROM and manual but strange the manual is not on the interwebs anywhere. Anyways here is the quick reference card attached Fast Basic Quick Reference Card.pdf From this thread - https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=8246
  4. UIP needs no drivers or config files to be created. Just run UIP on its own on the Atari and it will interface directly with the netusbee, use the IP it displays on the Atari screen on your PC and point your web browser at that IP. Now you will be able to transfer files back and forth.
  5. Yes i second this, would love an english patch please, have tried it on real hardware and look lovely on a SM124 but the language i'm struggling with. Thanks anyways
  6. See install manual below, if adding 4Mb SIMMS to the marpet board you have to make sure all on-board memory of the ST are switched off. Should also give you things to tr and troubleshoot too.
  7. ST Format magazine in the UK had a D.I.Y. track display project, looks like that imo
  8. cool, tested already, for a quick use mulitsync that is still being made and cheap this is probably the best value monitor if you have just got a Falcon.
  9. Yes I hadn't thought of that, i like yourself use an older monitor for both VGA and RGB but my shiny new 27" Dell can do ST RGB which should be just as good although i also use blowup which is suited to the old monitor in some nice custom resolutions, probably why i haven't tried the new Dell on it but for the default VGA/RGB resolutions it should be fine. I think best also still do the bog standard RGB/VGA video adapter/switch/cable, their website is soo bad you can't find anything on it.
  10. Try https://www.atari-forum.com/ or https://forum.atari-home.de/ you will get some beta testers there.
  11. love these old magazines, still have my UK ones in the loft so always good to see what the other side of the pond had at the same time. 👍
  12. https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0146 Allows both RGB and VGA into a suitable multisync monitor + more exotic resolutions if your monitor can handle it. If you want to see the best from the falcon (demo's etc) RGB is the way to go.
  13. Brilliant. 👍 Where's the labels for the rest of his games. . . . . . 😏
  14. Thanks, just got a parallel interface for my portfolio so eager to get this setup and working. will take me a while to go through the archive but omg, brilliant, everything in one place, saves me trawling the web. thanks again
